ESSENCE 2020 – Second language day
Knowledge of languages is the doorway to wisdom. -Roger Bacon It’s true that with languages you are at home anywhere. Language shapes the way we think and determines what we can think about. It is a collective word to express thoughts and expressions. Keeping in view that concepts are best learned through the language that a child acquires in early life Habitat School, Al Tallah organized a Virtual platform for Second Language Activity- Essence 2020 on 7th November 2020 for the students of Grade 6-8 to influence their cognitive ability in all spheres of life. Students showcased their talents in different languages and culture and won the hearts of audience through their mesmerizing performances. As believed that a different language is a different vision of life. Thus, this event proved to be meaningful not only for students but also for teachers who are a gateway for better viewpoint in every culture of different language. #Habitatschool #Altallah #Ajman #UAE
KG Story Telling Contest
“Storytelling is the oldest form of education” – Terry Tempest Willia.
Storytelling is one of the most effective ways to communicate with students. It gives wings to our imagination and takes us to the land of fairies, dragons and wishing trees. A story telling competition was held on the 27th of September in the online class for our little kindergartners. The young enthusiastic storytellers armed with their props came forth with wonderful tales. The stories were judged on the basis of expression, eloquence and confidence of the children. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by the little spectators and their parents.
